About the designer:
My name is Lorna Jones. I'm a nurse by profession, but I wanted to find something different to focus on on my days off. I learned to tat in 1982 and have enjoyed that very much. I also cross-stitch and have entered several pieces in the state fair and won some ribbons.
How did I get started in making jewelry? I bought a hematite necklace and couldn't find any earrings or bracelet to go with it. One of my friends suggested that I find some hematite beads and make my own. I did so and friends started telling me that I should start selling them, so here I am.
I have bought a large number of beads, different shapes, sizes and colors. My goal is to have already made sets (necklace, earrings and watch band/bracelet) out of various gemstone beads.
Also, I want to be able to make custom sets, listing the beads I have available and communicating with you to create the pieces you will love to wear.
